As a designer and social worker, my work has spanned industries, focusing on healthcare and education. Currently, I work on unceded Duwamish Land (Seattle) as the Human Centered Design Research Scientist at the University of Washington’s Suicide Care Research Center. I’m passionate about co-creating grassroots design capacity within communities. By blending my experiences in research, strategy, and curriculum design, I’m committed to fostering a more interdependent, adaptive, and compassionate society.

I live and work on unceded Duwamish Land. As such, I benefit from the ongoing harm of colonization and the displacement of the still federally unrecognized Duwamish Tribe. As part of an effort to rematriate this land to its traditional stewards, I pay Real Rent Duwamish and support The Heron’s Nest Landback Project. If you similarly benefit from the colonial legacy of the land you occupy, I encourage you to stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities and support the #LandBack movement.
